who is responsible
This website is run by Pocket SFX, email hello@pocketsfx.com. That's also who to contact about your data, the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
what is processed
When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that any website needs to answer: your IP address, browser and operating system (user agent), the page requested, the time and the referring page. This website keeps no logs and collects nothing else. There are no accounts, forms, newsletters, analytics, advertising or social media plugins.
why, and on what legal basis
The data is processed only to deliver the website and keep it safe from abuse and attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
hosting: cloudflare
The website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which processes the data above on our behalf under its data processing agreement. Data may be processed outside the EU, including in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; where that does not apply, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Cloudflare keeps such logs only as long as needed for delivery and security, as described in its privacy policy.
cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. If you press the light / dark button, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page opens in the same theme. It never leaves your device, and you can delete it any time in your browser settings. Cloudflare can set strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) only if a security check is triggered; they are used only to tell people from bots.
buying on gumroad
The buy buttons take you to Gumroad, Inc. Gumroad sells Pocket SFX as merchant of record and handles your order data under its own privacy policy. We receive the order details Gumroad shares with sellers, for example your email address for the purchase, and use them only to handle your order and support requests.
If you write to us, we use your message and address only to answer you. Mail is handled by Google Workspace.
your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and get a copy of it. Write to hello@pocketsfx.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.
other
You don't have to provide any data to read this website, beyond what your browser sends automatically. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
